Graphic Designer

The Role

Founded by cryptography pioneer Silvio Micali, Algorand fulfills the promise of blockchain through a first-of-its-kind transaction platform that solves the “blockchain trilemma” by offering true decentralization, scalability and security for both developers and business applications.

We are looking for a Graphic Designer in our Boston Office to design and create marketing content for a wide variety of platforms.

This is an opportunity for a team player who is genuinely excited by new technologies (Interest in open source technologies, blockchain, and/or cryptocurrency would be a plus!) and is able to partner across groups to create relevant and high quality digital design for Algorand’s corporate and community marketing efforts. The output will include a range of asset types. Opportunities to assist in user interface design with our Engineering organization are available for the right candidate!

Core Responsibilities

  • Provide creative design for all digital and print content
  • Create and maintain design asset libraries
  • Work with corporate narrative to embellish our corporate message through PowerPoint
  • Maintain, update, and improve our brand guidelines as our company and community evolve
  • Take part in the planning of event collateral (e.g., invites, booths, banners, and handouts)
  • Work with social team on creative assets that embellish our story in brand
  • Ensure all content deliverables are consistent with Algorand’s brand identity
  • Be a key part of an inclusive environment that fosters collaboration and creativity both internally and externally

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred; work experience will be considered
  • At least 2 years of demonstrable experience; past experience in high-tech marketing organizations is a plus
  • Solid background in web design (no coding required) and digital design
  • Expert level skill in Adobe Creative Suite
  • Proficient in PowerPoint, HTML, and WordPress
  • Ability to take creative direction
  • Ability to graphically convey complex concepts in a simple and relatable manner
  • Proven ability to collaborate successfully with cross-functional partners
  • Creative, approachable, energetic, “can-do” attitude with ability to change direction in a dynamic environment
  • Strong attention to detail; ability to prioritize workload and complete multiple tasks in a timely manner
