Algorand is computationally efficient
Algorand requires a minimal amount of computation. There are no hard cryptographic puzzles to be solved to generate a block. A user in Algorand performs just a few simple operations, no matter how many tokens he or she may own. For example, a user may verify a digital signature, count the number of messages received, or send a short message. Moreover, this amount of computation remains constant as the network grows. This means that in Algorand transaction costs can remain low, regardless on the number of users in the system.
